Terry beats Arlington Heights in 4A Semi-Final

Terry advances to 4A Championship Game

AUSTIN – Billy White scored 13 points and Eugene Wright had 11 points and 12 rebounds as Rosenberg Terry beat Fort Worth Arlington Heights 46-33 Thursday night in the Class 4A semifinals.
   Playing in its first state tournament, Terry (30-9) led 32-27 at the end of the third quarter, then outscored Arlington Heights 14-6 in the fourth.
   Both teams struggled to score with Terry shooting 32 percent and Arlington Heights 30 percent. The teams combined for 3 of 19 on 3-pointers. Terry also had to overcome 12 of 23 shooting on free throws.
   A'Shawn Robinson, a top football recruit as a defensive lineman who signed with Alabama, scored 17 points for Arlington Heights (23-11), but just two in the second half after sitting out most of the third quarter with foul trouble.
