HUMBLE – The Shell Houston Open as expected made official Monday that they will return to their tournament dates the week leading up to The Masters in 2014.
"We are excited about going back to our traditional date," SHO Tournament Director Steve Timms told KPRC-TV Local 2 .

"We had a good year this year but were still anticipating we'd go back there and happy we are.:
The SHO dates for 2014 will be March 31- April 6 next spring at Redstone Golf Club.
" I would say this year we had some players in that had not played us previously.," said Timms.
"They really enjoyed the course and setup. It gave us an opportunity with them. We hope to get them back and many others."
