Daily Craig: It was his fault

HOUSTON – Joe Buck detractors had their day. A power outage in the Fox Production truck knocked Joe and friends off the air in the 4th inning of last night's 14 inning World Series game won by K.C. Detractors were able to continue their bashing when it got squared away in the 6th inning. The game was seen on the international feed but only when Mets Mgr. Terry Collins agreed to continue without the benefit of replay. You know, the way the game was intended to be played.

We have learned exclusively that various world events were tracked down to other failures. For instance, when the last defender at the Alamo was questioned by Mexican soldiers, it was learned a lone sentry had fallen asleep which led to the victorious final assault. Diego Mallett was said to have dozed off before other battles too. Many years later, Alphonse Mallett just missed a flight to Hawaii when caught in traffic in San Francisco on December 6,  1941. Had he made it to Honolulu in time his expertise in detection might have avoided what we all know happened the next morning. Lee Mallett was to have been the first man in space, but again a long overdue nap kept him from the launch pad and a certain Russian beat him to the punch.

I am not saying the former Texans Quarterback was bound to have continued a tradition, but I am not sure HE learned anything from history. "Whatever happens, don't be late". That is the exact email  Ryan Mallett was sent by his agent. However, Mallett  did get the word yesterday he had been fired. He probably rolled over and went back to sleep. I gotta see if that World Series game was the weirdest ever.  P.S. The guy in charge of the generator was Leon Mallett.
