Pearland LL beats Louisiana, Advances to Williamsport

Pearland LL wins Regional and advances to World Series

Waco – Pearland Little League is headed back to the World Series in Willliamsport for the first time since 2010 after winning the regional tournament in Waco Wednesday night.

Pearland beat Louisiana 7-3 to advance.

Pearland's offense got off to a fast start Wednesday night against Louisiana. Two out singles by Clayton Broeder and Matthew Adams in the first inning set the table for Layne Roblyer who doubled in the first two runs and then scores on a bases loaded walk to Joshua Gabino. 

Pearland's Matthew Adams was the winning pitcher and struck out four to secure the win.

Pearland will travel to Williamsport early next week and the World Series opens several days later.
