We also saw Hall of famer Eric Dickerson who played 11 seasons in the NFL who's also pretty excited for Sunday's Super Bowl.

"I'm still a Texan at heart, and I'm glad to be back here and the weather is beautiful. And I think it gives people a chance to really know Houston. I think they think when I think of Texas it's not all about cowboy hats and boots. And horses but Houston is a beautiful city," Dickerson said.

While many expect the game will be close, several at Radio Row say the host city of Houston has already scored big on the worldwide stage.

Wednesday recap - Andy Cerota

Super Bowl week is attracting big crowds and some of the biggest names in the sports world.

Radio Row is a great mix of athletes and celebrities, and in some cases, they are one in the same.

We caught up with original Texans Chester Pitts as he made the rounds. He’s been to every Super Bowl since he retired in 2011.

“The energy, the joy, the money that comes into the city, I just don't see how it’s not a win,” Pitts said.

With four days to go until Super Bowl LI, Houston has secured its position on the grand stage, showcasing itself to the world. Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers says the events have been on point so far.

“I think the city needs to be recognized for how far it’s come. It’s definitely an up-and-coming city and it's good that everyone is here and recognizes it can be on the national stage,” McCullers said.

This is Houston Texans linebacker Whitney Mercilus’ first Super Bowl experience.

He’s beyond excited by what he’s seen so far.

A lot of broadcasters have been talking about how to contain Tom Brady this Sunday. It’s something our Houston Texans knows a lot about.

“You just really have to get some pressure off the middle, get him moving side to side, honestly,” Mercilus said.

Mercilus says he is not in the business of making predictions, but says it’s clear the Falcons are hungry for a championship.
