According to police, Manziel and his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley went out for a night of bar hopping around the Dallas area. After their group of friends disbursed, Manziel and Crowley were left alone at Zaza Hotel in Dallas.

In the report, Crowley says Manziel seemed like he was on some sort of drugs, but insisted that he was not intoxicated. The report states Manziel struck Crowley several times in the hotel before he said he would drive her home because she was intoxicated.

Police said Manziel and Crowley got into his car and started driving towards her apartment in Fort Worth, where Crowley resides. During the drive home, the report says Manziel's erratic behavior continued, including more violence and shouting directed towards Crowley.

Once they returned to Crowley's apartment, according to reports, Crowley said she was running in and out of her apartment in an attempt to get away from Manziel. According to reports, this is when Manziel fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Police were unable to locate Manziel after an exhaustive search by helicopters and ground patrol, according to police.

Crowley became very uncooperative when officers attempted to get a statement from her. She also refused to let officers photograph her or any of her injuries, according to reports.

Due to the uncooperative nature of Crowley, an information-only report was completed.
