Houston Texans announce home game themes for 2016 season

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans have announced the home game themes for the upcoming season.

The tradition of the Liberty White Out jerseys will be on display against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 11, the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Battle Red Day will be Dec. 18 when the Texans host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Texans will celebrate Pink Ribbon Day Oct. 16 against the Indianapolis Colts on "Sunday Night Football" on KPRC 2.

"Kids Day: A Celebration of Play 60" is scheduled Oct. 2, and "Salute to Service" on Oct. 30 against the Detroit Lions. 

Fan Appreciation Day will be on the final regular-season home game on Dec. 24 against the Bengals.
