Former NFL coach Dennis Green died of sudden cardiac arrest Friday, according to reports.
Green coached the Minnesota Vikings from 1992-2001 and the Arizona Cardinals from 2004-2006. Most recently, he coached the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League, ESPN reported.
In 1998, he coached the Vikings to a 15-1 season in which they set an NFL record for the most points scored in a season. That record has since been surpassed.
Green also served as an analyst for ESPN.
Green was 67.
