Fans can have a ball at NBA Jam Session in George R. Brown convention center

NBA All-Star Jam Session open Thursday through Sunday #jamsession

HOUSTON – The NBA All-Star game is in Houston this weekend and there are fun activities for all ages. NBA All-Star Jam Session is being set up at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Jam Session is an interactive playground, of sorts. Fans can be part of the Houston Rockets' team photo, visit a miniature Hall of Fame and even take photos of themselves making a slam dunk. There is a special kids' zone with hoops and activities that are just their size.

Current and former NBA players will sign autographs for free, and fans may spot them among the crowd, too.

There will also be a giant NBA store where fans can but All-Star memorabilia.

Jam Session is open from 4 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Tickets on Thursday and Friday are $20 for adults, $12 for children ages 3 to 12, seniors and military members. Children age 2 and under are free. On the weekend, Jam Session is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket prices those days are $30 for adults, $20 for children ages 3 to 12, seniors and members of the military. Children age 2 and under are free.

Tickets may be purchased online, at the Toyota Center box office, at participating Randalls stores and by phone at 866-446-8849. Tickets have timed entries.

More than 100,000 fans are expected to play at Jam Session.
