Daily Craig: Monday Fright Football

HOUSTON – I used to look forward to the Monday game. Until they put Houston on that schedule. I didn't enjoy another edition last night.

I suppose you may have noticed the TEXANS didn't quiet the Denver crowd. IN FACT, the Broncos ticket buyers were inspired by the OSWEILER CONTRACT. Denver types brought signs making fun of our front office spending so much for so little return. But, as BILL O'BRIEN is fond of saying "We're 4-3 and the season isn't quite half over."

True, but most TEXANS FANS are already over this team. Teams getting dissed by ESPN'S Chuckie and his partner don't make the post season. Playoffs? Did I just say Playoffs?

IF last night wasn't sorry enough the league had the gall to run a promo for Thursday night featuring the TITANS AND THE JAGS.  Egads. On top of that sorry news the TEXANS also had several injuries including  a season ending night for Derek Newton. Is it any wonder some of us are looking forward to the start of the World Series.

Of course there is always a positive side. Nick Novak didn't miss any field goals. He just needed 7 more.
