The Astros did what they couldn't do in 2005. They have beaten the CHISOX 2 in a row. One would have been fun in 2005. The team also did what they hadn't done against any other team since 1989. They hit into a triple play. George Springer started the 5-4-3 in the 8th. The last time the ASTROS HIT INTO A TRIPLE PLAY was 1989. CAMMY started that one and in case you forgot your scorebook it was a 5-4-3-2. It was against the Padres on a Sunday in the DOME. Mike Scott was the loser in the 5-4 final. I saw that one and saw last night's too. I am so proud.
In case you have been watching, you may have noticed the guy sitting behind home plate wearing an M&M'S Nascar jacket. IT IS YELLOW trimmed in chocolate. I checked the guy out and depending upon my source he is either a limo driver or the President of Mars, the owner of M&M's. He must have seen the chocolate writing on the scoreboard as he left last night in the 7th.
I was also switching from time-to-time to the WESTERN CONF. FINALS. Golden St. did what they had to do and it was impressive. I can only assume they lost game one in order to give the THUNDER a false sense of confidence. Oklahoma is excited. They are excited about their football game with UH on Sept. 3rd.
