Astros win streak at 6 ; Owls down Oregon

HOUSTON - It was a productive Monday night for two of Houston's baseball teams.

The Astros beat the Angels 2-1 to complete a 4 game sweep and extend their winning streak to 6 games.  Chris Carter belted his 12th homer of the season.  The Astros will return home to host Baltimore on Tuesday.  It's the Astros first 6 game road win streak since July of 2005.

Meanwhile in Eugene, Oregon the Rice Owls beat the host team Oregon 11-4 to claim the Regional title and advance to the Super Regional where they will face N.C. State.
