A key player for Texas A&M's football team was arrested on Sunday.
Darian Claiborne, a freshman linebacker, is facing two drug charges. One of those charges is for possession of marijuana.
Claiborne is being held on $6,000 bond.
A spokesperson for A&M told Local 2 that Claiborne has been suspended per athletic department policy. He will miss the upcoming Chick-Fil-A Bowl game against Duke on New Year's Eve.
