All District 19-5A selection for coach Flint Risien at Katy Taylor HS after catching 48 passes for 510 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior…  A former quarterback, Wells completed 11 of 17 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in spot duty and also rushed for 44 yards on 15 carries… Named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football’s Top 300 as one of top 10 tight ends coming into his senior year and as the seventh best tight end in Texas in their postseason edition… Closed out his career with 50 receptions for 520 yards and 11 TDs, 515 yards rushing with three touchdowns and 939 yard passing (102/188) with five TDs… Also lettered in baseball… A member of the National Honor Society and a second-team Academic All-State selection… Four-time Academic All District choice… A member of Young Life  and Best Buddies… Performed in Taylor’s presentation of “Seussical, The Musical”.
