Chad Ochocinco is planning to eighty-six his last name and go back to the original.

The celebrity gossip website TMZ.com reported that the wide receiver will revert to his birth name of Chad Johnson.

The flamboyant wide receiver legally changed his name to Ochocinco in 2008 when he was still with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The name was the Spanish translation of his No. 85 uniform jersey, but since joining the Patriots, Ochocinco has been barely seen or heard from on or off the field.

TMZ reported that Ochocinco also is planning to marry his girlfriend Evelyn Lozada, which could play a role in the decision to go back to Johnson.
