Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he will wait to form his own opinion of Todd Haley, who replaced Bruce Arians as the team's offensive coordinator.
"I've gotten a lot of calls and texts and e-mails from people around the league, both good and bad about him," Roethlisberger told the newspaper. "Everybody has an opinion, as we all know, and they're letting me know what their interaction with him was - good, bad and indifferent. I've heard a lot of things and I'm looking forward to meeting him and forming my own opinion."
Haley was fired by the Kansas City Chiefs midway through the 2011 campaign. He went 19-27 during three years with Kansas City, including winning the AFC West title in 2010.
The Steelers ranked 12th in the NFL in total offense last season.
