VYPE Magazine's Greater Houston Area HS Football Preview Is Out

POSTED: Thursday, July 16, 2009

VYPE Magazine is pleased to announce the unveiling of the first annual Houston High School Football Preview. The 212-page, full-color, glossy magazine previews the Class 5A, Class 4A and private schools across the Greater Houston area reaching into the Golden Triangle and Lufkin.

Every team is highlighted, rankings are released and we give fans a glimpse into the future of Houston's top prospects.

"This was a blast to do and it was a bear to get every high school the proper coverage," VYPE editor Matt Malatesta said. "There has been a void in this market for 20 years and it has been a dream getting this out for the true high school football fan. It's a must-read."

VYPE Co-Editor Randy McIlvoy of KPRC Local 2 Sports believes the issue covers it all.

"Matt did a great job of laying out the issue. It was fun to gather the information from coaches across the area all the way into the Beaumont/SE Texas region. There are many stories to tell this fall and VYPE's High School Football preview has set the standard."

The magazine will be available at the following locations: Academy, Blockbuster, HEB, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, Kroger, Brookshire Brothers, Circle K, Fiesta, KMart, Valero Stores, Hasting, Books-a-Million, Fry's Electronics, Costco, Tractor Supply, Play It Again Sports and Barcelona Sporting Goods.

Or the publication can be purchased online at www.vypepreview.com
