Texans Retain Seldom Used WR Anderson
POSTED: Wednesday, March 4, 2009
Houston -- It won't make any free agent watch list but it's a hole the Texans will plug.
Wednesday, the club decided to match seldom used receiver David Anderson's offer sheet he received last week from the Denver Broncos that covered 3 years and 4.5 million according to Denver television report last Friday.
Anderson has been a favorite of Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak but has played a limited role with the team while backing up the main receiving weapons of Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels, Kevin Walter and Andre Davis.
