Houston -- One of the four former Houston Texans involved in the ESPN report over the weekend has spoken with KPRC Local 2 Sports.
"I never anticipated this to be a big deal," said former lineman Jordan Black on Monday. "It caught me off guard and if I could do it over again, I simply wouldn't of done it at all."
According to the ESPN Outside the Lines report, Black and three other former Texans players claim Head Coach Gary Kubiak and his staff ran one-on-one full contact drills without pads during the minicamp despite the objections of the players.
Full contact drills between defensive and offensive linemen are prohibited during the offseason under the collective bargaining agreement. Only helmets are allowed to be worn by players during the drills.
Black admitted to KPRC Local 2 Sports Monday he has no hard feelings towards the Texans.
"I don't have any hard feelings at all. It happens in the league every year and grievances are filed by players," said Black.
"It's the way they have to be done and I think it will get taken care of," added Black.
The Texans have yet to acknowledge the allegations stating per club policy they are unable to comment while these matters are in arbitration.
