New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was shot in a nightclub Friday night, according to reports on ESPN.com and FoxSports.com.FoxSports reported that Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg and spent the night in the hospital.The sites said the wounds were not life-threatening.Burress has already been suspended from the defending Super Bowl champions once this season and was expected to miss Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.He has a sore hamstring.
