HOUSTON -- Houstonians watched the final Democratic debate before the March 4 primary with a keen eye, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.
Leading up to the debate, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton supporters were making calls on her behalf from a downtown restaurant, hoping to inspire people to vote for her on Tuesday.
At Sen. Barack Obama's Houston headquarters in the Texas Medical Center, people rallied together, watching the man they want to be the next president.
But at Dave and Buster's restaurant in southwest Houston, a watch party had Clinton supporters, Barack supporters, and some people who have not made up their minds.
"I am still undecided," said 43-year-old Doreen Osterholm.
She liked Obama overall before the debate.
"When people hear from him they become excited," said Osterholm. "He's very charismatic and we need a charismatic president."
But she said health care is her No. 1 issue.
"Hillary's plan seems more realistic," she said.
Guillermo Lopez, 21, said he likes how both candidates answered the question of health care.
"Both are on same page on this issue," Lopez said. "It's all a matter of who can give voters what they want."
And after the debate, Lopez said he was leaning toward Hillary.
"I listen to her and she just has so much experience she can use for all of the issues," Lopez said.
Both campaigns hoped their candidates would win voters over during the debate.
