May 24: Red Cross explains how you can help Oklahoma tornado victims

HOUSTON – What role does faith play in the lives of tornado victims?

Also this week on Houston Newsmakers, the CEO of the Texas Gulf Coast Region of the American Red Cross. It's been a very busy month for Red Cross volunteers now on the ground in Oklahoma. Before responding to Moore, Oklahoma, volunteers were on the ground in Granbury and West, Texas for tornadoes and a plant explosion.

What are the biggest needs of the Oklahoma tornado victims right now?  What does the American Red Cross most need?  CEO Steve Vetrano has all the details about the most effective ways you can help them help those who most need it.

Then, Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy as a preventive measure against breast cancer. Who should be concerned and what should you do if you are? Dr. Isabelle Bedrosian is a surgical oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center and talks about what category of women should consider such a drastic surgery. 

Kathryn Wilson had that surgery and has no regrets. She talks about it with Khambrel.

The NFL has awarded Super Bowl 51 to Houston for 2017! Ric Campo, the CEO of Camden Property Trust, was Chairman of Houston's Super Bowl Bid Committee and joins Khambrel to talk about what went into winning the big game and what the Houston region will need to do to get ready.
