Houston Newsmakers: Diversity important to FBI

HOUSTON – The FBI has been in the news quite a bit in recent weeks and months, primarily for the investigative work being done on all levels of our society. The agency is now looking for new blood to help in that process.

Perrye K. Turner is the Houston FBI Special Agent in Charge and tells Khambrel Marshall, that diversity will be important in the candidates being recruited.

“It’s a core value for the agency because it’s important to reflect the community in which we serve,” Turner said.

Turner also talks about the agency’s efforts against bank robbers and the FBI values as it relates to investigations on the local and the national level.
