Two women driving home from a Clear Lake restaurant were followed by a man, and according to Friendswood Police, that man pulled down his pants and exposed himself.
The women said they had a bad feeling they were being followed. They turned into a friend's driveway in the 1300 block of Woodvine Street in Friendswood and the suspicious man behind them got out of his car and approached.
Investigators told Local 2 the man tried to open the women's car doors but they were locked. That's when the women dialed 911.
The women were able to get a license plate number, and although no arrests have been made, police said they think they have identified the man.
Police took another report of indecent exposure in the city but they said they don't believe the cases are related.
Law enforcement officials are warning people to be careful and always trust their instincts. They recommend:
- If you fear you are being followed, err on the side of caution and assume that person is dangerous
- Don't go straight home, because you don't want the person to know where you live
- Make sure your car doors are locked
- Call 911 or drive directly to the nearest police station and ask for help
