Women followed home, robbed in driveway in 'jugging' incident

FORT BEND COUNTY – Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers has put out an alert about a "jugging" scheme in which several women have been targeted.

Investigators say three suspects are involved. The men appear to be finding their targets on Bellaire Boulevard and following them home. The trio waits until the victims pull into their driveways. At that point, one man gets out of the car and smashes the victim's window. The man then grabs the woman's purse while she is still in the car. Then man then returns to his vehicle and leaves the scene.

Investigators say the trio is using several different vehicles in this crime spree. One vehicle is a silver/gray Nissan Rouge. A second car is possibly an older model Camry. A third vehicle is a black four-door car. A fourth suspect vehicle is a white four-door passenger car. Other vehicles used in this particular "jugging" scheme include a tan SUV and what appears to be a blue Dodge.
Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers has released surveillance video from an Exxon located at 13574 Bellaire. Investigators said a suspect shown on the video used a credit card that was stolen in one of these crimes.
