HOUSTON – Police believe jealousy may have been the motive behind a deadly shooting Saturday morning in northeast Houston.
According to officials, a man went to his ex-girlfriend's house in the 1800 block of McDaniel Street around 6:30 a.m., confronted her new boyfriend and shot him in the driveway.

Police said the victim, Emanuel Carrillo, 34, died at the scene.
Homicide detectives said a third man inside the house grabbed a gun and shot the ex-boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend was taken to the hospital, where police said he is expected to survive his injuries.
No arrests have been made as Houston police investigate.
