According to police, Lluvia Paloma Rodriguez and at least two additional family members were engaged in a "heated verbal and physical altercation."

Officials said the victim tried to intervene and interrupt the violence, but Rodriguez then attacked her. The victim told police Rodriguez used her teeth as a weapon to bite her on her arm and nose. Because of the force used by Rodriguez, most of victim's nose detached from her face.

The victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated.

Authorities say Rodriguez received probation, failed to comply with the sentencing and is now wanted for the original charges of aggravated assault of a family member.

Anyone who knows where police can find Rodriguez is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Tips to Crime Stoppers can also be made online, by texting TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637) or through the Houston Crime Stoppers app.
