SUGAR LAND, Texas – A woman was robbed and assaulted inside her own home on Monday, according to Sugar Land police.
The woman was at home alone when two men knocked on her door in the 4600 block of Summer Lakes, police said. When she answered the door, they forced their way inside, tied her up and hit her in the head.
The men scoured the apartment and left the house with jewelry and other items, according to police.
Police believe the home was targeted.
The woman was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Sugar Land. Her condition is unknown.
