Police: Woman accused of stealing flight vouchers, booking flights for herself

HOUSTON – A woman working for Southwest Airlines stole a man’s flight vouchers and bought her own tickets, according to court documents.

Angela Christina Segura, 46, who worked for Southwest airlines at William P. Hobby Airport is charged with theft after she stole flight vouchers from a man, according to court documents.

The man said he noticed that Segura had accumulated flight vouchers from Oct. 30, 2015, to Feb. 9, 2016, valued at between $100 and $750, according to court documents.

Police said Segura took the man’s vouchers and purchased a number of flights.

KPRC2 contacted Southwest Airlines to ask if officials were aware of the accusations against Segura. The airlines provided a statement:

“I was able to verify that we are currently conducting our own internal investigation and working closely with the local authorities.

We don't have further comment on this personnel matter and ongoing investigation.”

Segura posted a $5,000 bond and is set to appear in court on Tuesday, according to court documents.
