Man who shocked woman with stun gun during kidnapping attempt arrested, police say

CONROE, Texas – A man who used a stun gun and zip ties on Friday in his attempt to kidnap a woman in Montgomery County has been arrested, deputies said.

Investigators said the woman was near Klein Memorial Cemetery when the man shocked her with a stun gun and then pointed a gun at her. They said the woman was then bound and gagged with a necktie.

Deputies said the woman was able to fight off her attacker and ran through the cemetery to a nearby Magnolia fire station for help.

The man has been identified as Charles Glaze, who goes by the name Bart.

Deputies arrested Glaze Monday night.

On May 14, another woman said she had an encounter with him when he approached her as she was visiting the cemetery. She said he did not assault her, but made her feel uncomfortable. She was able to snap a photo of the Glaze's vehicle and license plate, which was turned over to police.
