HOUSTON – A Houston area woman is seeking answers after a man exposed himself to her while she was traveling to work earlier this month.
Despite what she saw, the Harris County District Attorney's office said it is unable to file charges.
The woman, who doesn't want to be identified, said she was heading to work just before 8 a.m. on Nov. 5th when she stopped at the light on the feeder road of the Katy Freeway and Barker Cypress.
She said she was sipping coffee, listening to music, and minding her own business when she happened to glance inside the car next to her. She said she looked down from her SUV and saw a man exposed in his front seat.
"I don't want to get too graphic, but he was entertaining himself, I guess we'll say. And it was all out in the open," said the woman.
As surprised as she was, she said she grabbed her phone and took a picture of the man's' license plate and reported the incident to police.
A few days later, an investigator got back to her after they were able to trace the man's identity. She said she even picked out his face in a photo lineup.
After several more days of the investigation, the district attorney's office said it was unable to file charges because there wasn't enough evidence of any wrongdoing.
