Woman climbs on car to escape flooding

HOUSTON – Harris County fire marshal's rescued a woman on Jarvis near Barker Cypress in Northwest Harris County around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night. 

Officials say drivers are not aware of just how high the water is on the road.

They say a woman was drove her car half a mile down the road through the high water when she felt her car floating. She climbed on top of her car and used her cell phone to call police. 

Fortunately, the woman was rescued without any injuries.

Officials said this is the fourth water rescue in one day.
