HOUSTON -

Police are looking for leads after a woman was shot and killed in southeast Houston.

Police say shortly before midnight Thursday, the woman was shot several times while in the parking lot at the Glenbrook Condominiums on Leonora and Glenview. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

The victim, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Police say the suspect, described only as a black male, was last seen driving a possible dark-colored PT Cruiser.
