HOUSTON – Police are looking for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run accident in northeast Houston.
Police say a 41-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4500 block of Lyons.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she died.
Officials said the driver of the vehicle did not stop and help the victim.
At this time police do not know of any witnesses.
