When firefighters arrived, neighbors said there might be two people trapped inside.

Firefighters said they quickly sprang into action and found a 33 year-old woman lying on the floor unconscious.

Firefighters said they pulled her out of the fire and quickly transported her to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she is suffering from first and second-degree burns as well as smoke inhalation.

She was the only victim in the house and the fire is under control, firefighters said.

Arson detectives will be investigating the cause of the fire, investigators said.
