HOUSTON – Police are searching for the driver who struck a woman with their vehicle and fled near midtown.
Officials said the woman was trying to cross the street on Westheimer Road and Montrose Boulevard when a car pulled out of a Valero gas station and hit her.

Police said someone in the car rolled the window down and yelled, "I have a gun" and fled.
The woman was taken to the hospital listed in stable condition.
There is no word yet if any arrests have been made.
