TOMBALL, Texas -

An employee at a Tomball business discovered a camera inside of the bathroom, according to Tomball police.

Police say the female employee noticed a hole in a box on a shelf inside the bathroom at Texas State Optical on Tomball Parkway.

When she investigated, police said the employee discovered a camera hidden behind the box.

George Apreza, 20, is charged with improper photography.

"It was a unisex restroom. So it was not uncommon for him to be in there at that time. From what I have learned, the box had been in there for more than a period of just that day," said Detective Jimmy Harral of the Tomball Police Department.

Harral told Local 2 that several other employees were also recorded.

"In this case, the guy actually had probably close to two hours of video clips of people coming in and using the restroom with multiple victims involved," Harral said.

No one answered at Apreza's home in Tomball Tuesday morning.  Police say Apreza also recorded himself.

"Upon charging it, she opened it up and looked at some of the recordings that were on there, showed him and his face setting it up,” said Harral.

Police said Apreza is out of jail on a $2,000 bond.  He is charged with a state jail felony.  A conviction in this case could mean up to five years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
