Woman charged in son's shooting

Deborah Tagle, Jesse Rodriguez charged in Santa Fe shooting

SANTA FE, Texas – Santa Fe police arrested a 55-year-old woman in connection with the shooting of her 14-year-old son.

Police charged Deborah Tagle with one count of injury to a child with intent to commit bodily injury, a third-degree felony. She is being held on $40,000 bond.

The boy was listed in stable condition at Memorial Hermann.

Police previously charged 23-year-old Jesse Rodriguez (pictured below), who investigators said shot Tagle's son at her home in the 10400 block of 27th Street. Surveillance video from the home showed Rodriguez firing the gun, police said.
