HOUSTON – A woman was carjacked in a southwest Houston neighborhood on Sunday.
Houston police said the woman pulled into her garage in the 6800 block of Greenway Chase near Bellaire about 11:30 a.m. and was unloading groceries.
As the garage door was closing, an armed man slipped inside and demanded her car, detectives said.
The 65-year-old woman complied and the man got away with her 1993 silver Acura, 24-carat gold necklace and purse, investigators said.
A detailed description of the thief has not been released.
