WEBSTER, Texas – A woman was repeatedly slammed to the ground by a man before, police said, he took off with her purse and her car.

It all happened at the Baystone Apartments on Nasa Parkway in Webster the on Nov. 30

The 26-year-old University of Houston student said she'd just pulled up and was visiting a friend when a man approached her from behind.

"It was maybe like seven steps, then someone came up behind me and just pushed," said the victim, Marrissa Pena. "So I fell face-forward and broke my three of my teeth."

Despite bloodied and in pain, Pena said she got up and tried to fight back, but she proved to be no match for the crook. She said he ended up knocking her down again before taking her purse and jumping into her Ford Fiesta.

"He took the purse and got in the car," said Pena. "When I got up, the reverse lights were coming toward me and they drove off."

Pena said she's scared because of all her personal information that was inside her purse and car, which is a black Ford Fiesta with Texas license plate No. BZ2K889.
