Investigators said Michelle Renee Nunez loaded up a shopping cart with high-priced items and left the store without paying.

Workers said they noticed Nunez was acting suspicious inside the store, police said. According to authorities, store managers said they were watching as Nunez attempted to leave and one manager stopped her and asked for a receipt. That's when Nunez made a run for it, police said.

Store employees provided the suspect's vehicle description to police, and officers were able to locate Nunez.

Officers said Nunez told them she planned to sell the groceries to someone else for half their value.

Expensive meat and seafood products were among the items Nunez is accused of stealing. She is charged with Theft of Property more than $1,500. Her bond is set at $60,000, authorities said.

Investigators with the Friendswood Police Department said this is not the first time Nunez has done this. Authorities said she was also caught stealing high-dollar meat products from HEB in League City in March 2012.
