FRIENDSWOOD, Texas - A woman was arrested and accused of stealing almost $100 in items from an H-E-B store in Friendswood.

Store employees said they confronted 22-year-old Eleanor Alessi after she walked into the restroom with a handful of jewelry. Police searched Alessi and said they found stolen jewelry and makeup, as well as a bag of marijuana.

Alessi was charged with theft-shoplifting and possession of marijuana.
