Lara and her husband, Yuri, are charged with unauthorized practice of medicine and possession of a dangerous drug.

According to investigators, the couple posed as doctors and performed surgeries in their northwest Harris County home.

Investigators said they were called after a 41-year old woman was admitted to a hospital because her breast enhancements had become infected and abscessed.

Christina Garza with the Harris County Sheriff's Office says the couple was performing serious procedures and neither of the Lara's is a licensed physician with the Texas Medical Board.

"We're talking liposuction, breast implants, fat injections, body contouring and we do believe there are more victims out there," she said.

"My clients say they did not do this and we look forward to our day in court," said the Lara's attorney Logan Dietz.

The couple is out of jail after posting a $100,000 bond each.
