HOUSTON – A woman was carjacked while visiting the Shipley's Donuts on the South Loop at MLK about 5 a.m. Friday.
"I just pulled up into the parking space," the 58-year-old victim told Local 2. "The guy come around, and pointed a gun and said to get out of the car. I just took off running as fast as I could to let the people know that I needed help."

She ran inside the store, where employees called 911 for help.
Houston police confirmed they were investigating. The victim said the attackers took off in her 1998 red Ford F-150 pickup.
"Watch your surroundings if you can and that's all I can say. I'm just shocked about the whole thing. I just really am. And I won't be back around that time," she said.
