HOUSTON – The numbers for the fourth largest Mega Millions jackpot in US history were drawn Tuesday night.

Convenience stores were extra busy, with people stopping by in droves for their chance to win Tuesday night's huge Mega Millions jackpot. At $344 million, it's the fourth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.
Customers lined up at Rudy's Stop and Shop in Rosenberg with dollar bills in hand, hoping to strike it rich.
"I feel like this is my lucky place here," said Joyce Johnson, who uses her family member's birthdays to pick her Mega Millions numbers.
Hundreds of customers have found fortunes at Rudy's, but not the big kind. Rudy's winning tickets typically pay out $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000. Still, the owner says customers drive from near and far for the chance to strike it rich.
"Some people we have drive from Galveston," said Mike Prasla. "I have one of the customers we have drive from Port Lavaca."
"I play these numbers religiously every week," said customer Barry Vacek, holding what he hopes is a winning ticket. "The same numbers. It doesn't matter what the amount is. I'm just out to win."
"I think I can be hit by lightning faster in my living room than I'm gonna win this lotto," admitted Bo Randall, who said she still plays every week.
In Texas, the odds of being hit by lightning are 1 in almost 13 million. The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 259 million; but your chances of winning any amount playing tonight's game is about 1 in 14.
"I think a million would be just fine," said customer Joe Moore.
You can still get a Mega Millions ticket up until 9:45 tonight. The drawing is at 10 p.m.
