There's a queso conundrum. Will there be enough cheese for your Super Bowl get together?

Kraft is reporting a shortage of some of its cheese products, specifically Velveeta, the creamy popular block of cheese used to make queso.

The company isn't saying what is causing the shortage; but store managers say they are not getting all of the product that they are ordering, and that's leaving some shelves bare.

Local grocery chains say they have the 32-ounce packages of Velveeta. It's the 8- and 16-ounce packages that are hard to get right now.

A Kraft spokesperson said it's a "short-term issue that's more noticeable right now given the increased seasonal demand."

No word on when stores should be fully stocked up again.
