Wig-wearing man, another suspect charged with bank, cell phone store robberies

HOUSTON – Two suspects have been arrested and charged for robbing a cell phone store and a credit union over the last two months.

According to the Harris County District Attorney's office, Lawrence Williams and Rodney Sewell were two of the four suspects who robbed the Texas Dow Employees Credit Union on W. 19th Street on the afternoon of September 10. Surveillance photos showed Williams wearing a wig during the robbery.

Authorities said Williams and Sewell also robbed a north Houston T-Mobile store back on August 23.

Both suspects face multiple charges for the two incidents, including aggravated robbery.
