What do you do with your gum when it's all chewed up?

Parents, students, and educators: before calling in the haz-mat team to remove old chewed-up gum from under the school desks and chairs, consider an alternative use.  Think recycling!  Some students in the Netherlands created a 15ft. tall sculpture out of used gum.  Freshly-chewed apparently works best.  How long will it last?  "The work will stick around as gum can take five years to biodegrade."
