Two people were arrested in Wharton on Thanksgiving Day after investigators say an officer found bombs inside their car.
Officers with the Wharton Police Department first pulled over Benjamin Kamaliazad, 27, for driving recklessly.
He and his passenger Linda Carnes, 26, were arrested after the officer found drugs in the car, detectives said.
Kamaliazad and Carnes also had two bombs hidden in a makeup case, said investigators.
According to investigators, it is unclear what the couple was doing with the bombs or where they were going when officers pulled over the vehicle.
Kamaliazad, of Conroe, was charged with two counts of prohibited weapon, manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Carnes, also of Conroe was charged with two counts of prohibited weapon, manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
According to investigators, at the time of her arrest, Carnes provided a false name to officers.
When she was arrested, Carnes was on probation for another crime in Montgomery County.
