The West Loop ramp to the Southwest Freeway will likely be shut down for several more hours after an 18-wheeler overturned while hauling large slabs of concrete Friday morning.
The Highway 59 southbound mainlanes between Newcastle and Chimney Rock were closed so crews could remove the concrete panels that were dropped on the ramp. Those lanes reopened around 1 p.m.
